Large Antique Indian Silver Plated Bowl Late 19thC

This is a fabulous antique silver plated bowl from India, made in the second half of the 19th century. It is decorated with a repousse motif of stylized foliage and sits on a foot with an incised pattern. Measuring 24.5cm wide and 11cm tall it is in very good condition with no damage or repairs, just light usage wear and some gentle deformation to the rim; the silver plating is also very intact with just a few small areas of wear.
