Dansk Smykkekunst Amethyst Silver Plate Pendant Necklace Vintage 1970s Brutalist

Amazing Amethyst Sterling Plated Pendant by DANSK SMYKKEKUNST marked D. The pendant itself is modernist and features a polished but irregularly shaped amethyst surround by a "dripped" silver mounting in two levels.

The chain was designed without a clasp and is large enough to simple slip over the wearer's head. It features incredible age patina that I personally think is beautiful. It is in excellent, vintage condition with no visible damage (note I have not cleaned or polished it).

The plating is in good shape with only tiny losses on the chain. I believe it is a one of a kind piece. Made early in the 1970s with heavy silver drip work and plating. Please refer to pictures for additional information. Measurements: Pendant measures 3 inches long and 14.5mm thick; chain is continual - no clasp, so you have to put it over your head- and measures 26 inches.

Weight is 94.1 grams. Marked DS Made in Denmark.
