Huge & Extremely Rare Vintage CARRS Silver Photo Frame (5x7) COST £249

Our photos contain some of our most treasured people and memories, and I wanted to display mine in the best frames possible, and so naturally I chose Carrs. Carrs no longer make ANY of the silver plated frames that I'm listing for sale, and they made even less in this particular design as it's so heavy and time consuming to make. All of these were hand made by silversmiths, hence the exceptional quality. It's a classical design that isn't too busy or ostentatious, but equally, is substantial and very eye catching. It's got the RC Carr mark on one corner, and is heavy for its size (they made a lightweight and a heavyweight version and this is the heavyweight one). Please note that the frame is vintage 1980s to 1990s and others that are up for sale, are covered in knocks and marks and really haven't been looked after properly. The silver on mine does have some minor marks but considering the frame's age, they're really insignificant and honestly can't be seen when one casually looks at the frame. The velvet is in good condition, but does show its age.

Overall, this frame is in good condition, but not'as new'. The aperture window is 18.4 x 13.2cm whilst the back opening is 7.5 x 5.4. And the total size of the whole frame is 27cm high x 20cm. I do not have the original box, but the frame will be securely wrapped. Thanks for looking and please see the other silver photo frames I've listed (including a solid silver version of this frame).
