The size of the pendant is 30×20 millimeters. It is made of 875 silver (the "Star" stamp), covered with 850 gold (20 carats). A durable and reliable silver pendant with a high-quality Laboratory Ruby.

In good condition, no damage. The gilding is well preserved, on the reverse (inner) on the other side, there is a section without gilding in the lower part of the pendant (photo of the reverse side). Ruby has no damage, it glows in ultraviolet light like a natural one (a method of authenticity verification). Laboratory Ruby has all the properties and qualities of a natural Ruby stone: very high hardness, strength, and chemical resistance, resistant to scratching and wear. Production of the Soviet Socialist Union in the 1970s. Can confidently consider himself the owner of the "Purest Ruby" because only a gemologist using a microscope and studying the crystal lattice can distinguish a "natural ruby" from a "synthetic" one. According to the Verneuil method, an "artificial Ruby" was created from aluminum oxide under the influence of ultrahigh temperatures (2500 degrees Celsius = 4500 Fahrenheit), completely identical to natural in all parameters and properties, and much superior in purity. Artificially grown Ruby stones (red) and their shades are used in all jewelry of the Soviet Union of the USSR made of silver and gold.
