The serial number is 246xxx which dates it to 1929. This is the True Tone Mark IV model, a lovely sounding horn with the useful G# roller key and the stylish spearhead bell key-guard. This alto has been well looked after and is in great condition.

The matt silver plate is in wonderful condition along with its burnished gold-washed bell. All the original black pinky rollers are there without any chips to them.

It has its original Snap-In-Pads and comes with its original lyre and hard case. This alto saxophone has a great sound but will need a service to be in tip top playing condition so please bear this in mind. The case is good and strong as ever with no splits in the wood and the all latches functioning. Berkeley cases, mouthpieces, and many vintage U. A altos, tenors, and baritones.
