Maker's mark is JS which I think is for Joseph Smith & Sons, so this piece is likely from the 1960's, 70's or 80's. There are 2 photographs inside the locket of a young woman and a boy. Comes on a nice 20 inch gold plated chain marked Sterling on the clasp. Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.
Condition report: Normal signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs and minor impact marks etc. As mentioned, the hallmark is very worn. The locket itself measures approx.
40mm (not including the bale) x 32mm. My stock ref: #KF in box of that date. GSP sorts any paperwork etc. I have no control over the prices that GSP set. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal sized Coke can (330ml).
In the title or description it means. Condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ".
I have used A/F for " as found " for 50 years.
