Vintage 54 Piece ART DECO Silver Plated CUTLERY CANTEEN - Made in Sheffield - 1930s. Here we have for sale a lovely vintage 54 piece 6 place setting Art Deco cutlery canteen that was made in Sheffield in the 1930s. The cutlery is in the Old English pattern.

It is in excellent condition for its age with only very minor blemishes here and there. The handles are faux bone (composite material). A couple of pieces have been replaced with very similar ones in the past. This set comes in the original canteen case which is in excellent condition inside and out with blue velvet lining as pictured with again only minor blemishes.

The hinges and clasps are in full working order and the lid lifts smoothly to 90 degrees and stays upright unrestrained. There is a lock but no key. The cutlery is complete for 6 settings and comprises 54 pieces in total, grouped as follows. 2 x Serving / Table Spoons. 1 x FOUR PIECE Meat Set, fully complete.
