Vintage Antique Silver Plated Oil Lamp Base Victorian Hinks Hallmarked

Vintage antique small Victorian silver plated oil lamp base. Made by Hinks & Son, a popular company that manufactured oil lamps in Birmingham from 1865. Hinks & Son is marked on the screw. The top unscrews and it still has a very long wick inside. In good condition, there is a slight patina in places - see photos- but in very good condition for its age. Measures: 17.5 cm height x base width 9 cm square.
