Vintage ART DECO 41Piece Silver Plate Faux Bone CUTLERY SET - Made in Sheffield - 1930s Here we have for sale a beautiful A1 silver plated Art Deco vintage 41 piece 6 place setting cutlery canteen that was made in Sheffield in the 1930s. The set was almost certainly made by the noted Sheffield cutlers Walker and Hall Ltd and is identical to Walker and Hall branded cutlery pieces and canteens of this era. However this example is a canteen set that was branded for a retailer, which was fairly common practice, in this case J. Wells & Co of Manchester whose name is on the pieces. The cutlery is complete for 6 settings and comprises 41 pieces in total, grouped as follows: 6 x Dinner Forks.

2 x Serving / Table Spoons. 1 x THREE-PIECE Meat Set1 x Canteen Case.

36cm x 28cm x 8cm. Weight of Set: approximately 5kg. The set is in excellent vintage condition and the cutlery appears hardly used although there is some minor cosmetic wear to the outside of the case and some minor fading to the interior felt.
