Vintage Australian Rodd'Silver Glory' Silver Plate Cutlery set for 8. Lovely setting for 8 people is in the design Silver Glory manufactured by Australian Company Rodd. You will receive 8 dinner knives, 8 entree knives, 8 dinner forks, 8 entree forks, 8 soup spoons, 8 dessert spoons, 8 teaspoons and two large table or serving spoons. The set presents beautifully and appears to have never been used. The pieces are still individually wrapped in cellophane sleeves and the velvet finish lining to the canteen is protected by a plastic sheet.
Some of the cellophane wrappers have small holes and there are spots where air has got in and there are very slight areas of tarnish... This will polish off super quickly and easily. I took a single piece of each type out of the cellophane for photography purposes and then put them back into their sleeves. There are no bubbles, flakes or corrosion spots to the silver plating. The canteen is a very simple one that holds the set beautifully. It is made from a wood with a simple grain and is a medium warm brown colour. It has a few scratches to the wood from storage.Please note this item is original and not a copy or modern day reproduction.
