Vintage Danish S Chr Fogh Diplomat Silver Plate Cutlery Setting for 6. This stylish silver plated Danish cutlery set is in very good condition. The pieces are Danish and in the popular pattern called Diplomat. The pieces have a finely reeded design with balled decoration to the finials and traditional Scandinavian horizontal banding to the neck. The backs are smooth and plain.
The set consists of 45 pieces and is a setting for 6 people and consists of 6 dinner knives and 6 entree knives with faux bone handles, 6 dinner forks, 6 entree forks, 6 continental soup spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 teaspoons, a cake server, a jam spoon, and a gravy or sauce ladle. All are in lovely condition and have a reflective shiny surface. It is one of three sets in this design we have listed.
There is no silver plate loss and no bubbling or corrosion to the plating. There are a few very fine scratches and scuff marks from use. As mentioned the plating is reflective and shiny. This is a high quality, beautiful setting in lovely condition.
