Antique Art Deco Max Le Verrier Monkey Statuette. I think was meant to be a desk light. Appears to be silver plate, but Im unsure of the base metal. As you can see there are some issues with the surface, including wear to the plating and some scuffing (someone has scratched out the signature around the base) I think its possible this could be re-plated which it would benefit greatly from, it will also need a new marble base, a glass shade, and re-wiring, all in all this is a pretty hard to find piece, and its well worth the effort to restore it.
