Rare French L/E art deco lamp Rogue Marble & silver plate Opaline globe shade

Up on offer here is this extremely rare, vintage 1920s patented French designer limited edition Rococo art deco table lamp in genuine Rogue Marble, silver plate, chrome plate, and Opaline milk glass. Very impressive piece of genuine patented designer vintage French lighting. Very elaborately decorated four-footed silver-plated base with patent (deposé) and L/E number stamped to the underside. Square rogue marble plinth set into the base. Chunky rogue marble column embedded in Silver plated upper and lower decorative sleeves.

Heavy silver-plated neck & collar supporting an original 1920s chrome plated ventilated gallery with original locking bolts. Original brass bayonet fit bulb holder.

Original Opaline milk glass with very light crepe tint segmented globe shade. Rare vintage "Wechselstrom" white & brown Bakelite inline torpedo switch.

Original 1930s MK three- round pin Bakelite plug with early cord grip. Fully professionally re-wired in two-core silk braided twist cable, tested, and in perfect working order. For dimensions, please see images. Any questions, please dont hesitate.

Lamp is in beautiful period condition with no known faults; theres what looks like a crack in the plinth, but on close inspection with the lamp dismantled for re-wiring, it was established that the plinth is not split. It is in one piece. There is a little chip to the globe fitter, which is totally obscured when assembled, also, a level of light surface erosion / tarnish to the gallery commensurate with its 80+ years of service (please see images). Even though the lamp is Fully UK wired and in perfect working order when tested, To comply with local legal & safety regulations, It is buyers responsibility to check with a qualified person whether or not any usability or safety alteration will need to be made to wiring or fittings in accordance with local laws.
