Vintage Australian Rodd Windsor Silver Plate Cutlery set for 6. Lovely setting for 6 and of 44 pieces is in the design Windsor manufactured by Australian Company Rodd in the late 1950's and produced over a period of around 15 years.
Although a popular pattern it is one of the harder to find. There are 6 dinner knives, 6 entree knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 entree forks, 6 soup spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 teaspoons and two large table or serving spoons.
There is no damage to the pieces and they present beautifully. It has been gently used. The silver plate is glossy and reflective. There are a few odd small spots to the knife blades as shown.The large serving spoon has a nick to the bowl as shown. There is no loss of the plating nor any pitting or corrosion to any of the silver plate. Only the knife blades have some small pin prick spots of corrosion mainly at the base of the blades, one knife only has two small spots to the flat of the blade as shown. This ia beautiful setting in well cared for condition and ready for many more years of use. For Imperial measurement users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
