Vintage Genuine Australian Black Opal Doublet &14k Yellow Gold Vermein Pendant. The Opal is oval shaped and measures approx 2cm long and 1.3cm wide. Set in Gold Vermein - 14k Yellow Gold plated Sterling Silver. The weight of the pendant is 6 grams.

As can be seen in the photos, the colours available from the stone are sparkling and shining Red, Yellow and Green along with subtle Blue and Orange, depending on the angles and light. A very beautiful and unique piece of Art Deco Australian opal jewellery Circa 1960's. Comes in a stylish presentation box, and with a complimentary chain. Vintage unsold stock, stored away and forgotten after my jeweller and opal cutter father-in-law retired over 30 years ago.
