A Mamluk Revival silver-inlaid brass TrayEgypt or Syria, circa 1900. Of shallow form, engraved and decorated in silver inlay with a central hexagonal cartouche containing foliate interlace within a six-pointed star, surrounded by a band of inscription, the rim with a band of cartouches containing vegetal interlace and lattice design interspersed by roundels containing flowerheads 35cm.
