Fine, very ornate machine age silver plated cast white metal two-handled Aladdin's style table lamp. Standing on a raised circular base plinth with deep relief decorative border, red baize base covering, and original Bakelite cable entry grommet. Weighing 7.7 LB, very substantially built period lamp with two very impressive solid Roman handles. Beautifully deep relief decorated, graduated neck with foliage design and a circular petal base border.

Original 1930s "French Ezan Sabino" hand-moulded iridescent icicle glass art deco shade. Original British made zinc plated B-22 earthed bayonet fit bulb holder.

Lamp is fitted with an original 1930s "Crater" art deco ivory-Bakelite inline switch; the most valuable and sought after of all art deco Bakelite inline switches by far. Lamp has been professionally re-wired in best period match three-core fabric braided 0.75mm twist cable, earthed, tested, and in perfect working order. Original 190s (MK) three--round pin white Bakelite plug with early cord grip system, and heat shrunk cable protective sleeve. Absolutely unique piece of antique Deco Boudoir lighting. Ready to use, (for both UK & USA homes) no additional parts or wiring required other than a suitable US voltage compliant bulb for US homes.
