Anglo Indian Solid Silver Kashmir Kashkul. Sometimes described as Indo-Iranian or Indo-Persian. This Kashmiri Kashkul is a boat shaped bowl. Terminating with a snake at either end. Decorated with Chinar leaves and Coriander flowers. With a pierced trellis design at the rim. At either end snake bodies travel upwards from the foot. Not hallmarked but has been tested as Solid Silver. 80mm to the highest points at snake heads. 140mm wide to end of snake heads. 65mm wide front to back. Incurred by the purchaser upon return of this item.
