Antique Art Nouveau Figural 4-piece Silver Plate Tray Set Russian Eagle c. Description: Presented is absolutely fantastic sculptural Art Nouveau silverplated table tray set consisting of a large tray, two cups and a smaller cup. The elements of the set are sculptured in human shapes of highly emotional state - very typical for Art Nouveau style.

In a sense this is the very essence of Art Nouveau - elegant, impressive and emotional. The set is marked with a double headed eagle mark and letters "M" and "H". Also, the cups could be vodka shot glasses - 1 small one and 2 slightly larger ones. All cups have bronze inserts.

However, this is just my assumption - I don't know for sure who manufactured theis wonderful piece of art, but I guarantee this is an original Art Nouveau set made by a continental artist around early 1900s. The set is in excellent condition - there is no breaks or repairs.

The silver plating is intact. I know some collectors prefer not to clean or polish their silver and silver-plated items - some prefer the antique patinated look. The tray is 13" by 10", two cups are 3" tall, one cup is 2" tall.
