Antique Art Nouveau Silver Plated Jewellery Box with Mirror & Fitted Velvet Interior. A beautiful and substantial antique jewellery box, dating from the early 20th century and displaying elegant Art Nouveau styling throughout. The exterior is richly decorated in high-relief repoussé silver-plated metal, featuring flowing floral and foliate motifs across the lid and all sides. At the centre of the lid is a polished oval cartouche, framed by intricate scrolling vines and flowers. The box opens to reveal a luxurious deep burgundy velvet interior, complete with fitted compartments and ring rolls, as well as a framed bevelled mirror inside the lid. The interior is clean and well preserved, making it both attractive and fully functional.

The box closes securely with its original clasp and sits squarely on its base. The underside is finished with a velvet panel. This is a high-quality example of an Edwardian / Art Nouveau jewellery casket and would make a superb dressing table piece, gift, or collector's item. Condition: Very good antique condition.
