Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Reed & Ribbon Hand Mirror Bow Crest Ribbed c1900

Beautiful Quality Antique Edwardian Period Silver Plated Reed & Ribbon Hand Mirror Reeded & Crested with Ribbon Bow Garland. It is silver plated but this has rubbed, mainly to the horizontal detailing over the reeded frame, revealing the brass base metal. The bow also has wear to the silver plate, but here the base metal is copper, so a little of the copper shows, giving a pleasing appearance. The glass is good with no chips or damage, some light scratches but nothing major.

To the back of the mirror, it has the original velvet-type fabric, to prevent the dressing table from scratches. The fabric is in very good, clean order. All aspects are sound and secure. Overall measurements: 31.5cm x 12.25m. Mirror glass: 14cm x 10cm.
