Antique English Oak Silver Princes Plate Bowling Trophy Bowl. Mappin & Webb 1888

This handsome English Oak trophy bowl with silver plated rim, handles, ball feet and two shields dates from c1888 and looks wonderful on display. This very nice quality trophy bowl has three stylish ball feet, two beautifully shaped handles and would make an excellent decorative piece for a sports enthusiast. This bowl has two silver plated shields, one to each side. One is nicely monogrammed with EAS and with a bowling ball and jack. The other shield is blank. Which dates this as 1888. Width including handles: 35 cm (13 3/4).

Depth: 24 cm (9 1/2). Height 15.5 cm (6). Condition: Very nice decorative condition with signs of use and wear with a wonderful look.

Silver plate has some wear and tarnish spotting. Some shrinkage cracks to the wood joints. Top hat is not included. All items will be packaged with care and dispatched quickly using a fully insured service.
