Antique Gold Plated Nickel Silver Box

This vintage late 19th century American made jewel box is made of nickel sil;ver that is gold plated. The exterior of this silver plate Wilcox company box is beautifully decorated with an elaborate engraved floral scroll motif.

The lid cover has an unmonogrammed dimensional shield & exhibits a sturdy triple hinge attachment. The interior of the jewel box displays a lush dark burgundy color velvet fabric that covers the lift out tray as well. The base features the manufacturers logo. The box has a key lock mechanism, but there is no key. 7 7/8" wide X 5" deep X 3 3/8 tall.
