A rare solid silver and lilac grey enamel dish by the renowned enamelist Marius Hammer - a delightful shallow dish of a radiating basketweave guilloche design under pale lilac grey enamel with a gilded swag border mounted on three lions paw feet and with an overall gilt wash. Marked for Marius Hammer of Norway and with English import marks for 1911 and for retailer Henry James Hulbert of London - total weight 53.8 grms - diameter 73mm - c. There are no chips, cracks or restorations to the enamel and is a fine example of enamelling - Please refer to the photos as they form an integral part of the description.
