Beautiful Oak Antique Games Tantalus With Silver Plate Fixtures. With 3 cut glass decanters 2 have a small chip on the collars and some nibbles on stoppers. The glass decanters have the star burst Patten on the base. The Tantalus originally was silver plated on top of brass with lots of love and attention and over polishing the brass is now showing through on most parts the centre plate is still silver The plate has managed to last on that part only The brass is lovely and shiny which adds to it patina. It has side carrying handles.

The lock is find but doesn't have the key any longer, so the tantalus doesn't lock. As you open the lids there storage for glasses. As you open the lids you can see a button if you push it down it Releases a secret drawer this is where you would put all your games like playing cards bridge boards dominoes etc. The condition of the tantalus is good and solid with the normal marks of age. Like some bubbling on the sides at the plinth base.
