Antique Victorian Deykin & Sons Silver Plate Shop Display Cabinet Mirrored Sides

Vintage Props, Unusual & Decorative Antiques. Here for sale is a fantastic antique shop display cabinet. The cabinet opens from the back an has its two original brass handles for the opening. There are heavy adjustable brass brackets inside and two glass shelves. Either side of the cabinet is mirrored and to the back is sign writing for Deykin & Sons silver plate.

The business was established in 1781 as gilt button makers by James Deykin and William Henry Deykin until 1848. Deykin & Sons traded between 1854 - 1895, so this cabinet dates from this period and was used in a shop.

This Victorian mahogany display cabinet is perfect for any home or business for display and storage. One of the mirrored sides is cracked in half. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
