Antique Wolstanton School Football Trophy Orme Newcastle Under Lyme Silver Plate

ORIGINAL WOLSTANTON COUNTY GRAMMAR SCHOOL FOOTBALL CUP. EPNS design by George Ernest Hawkins of Birmingham, for the Wolstanton School in Newcastle-under-Lyme (now the Orme Academy).

7" high x 3.5" at the diameter of the top lip (18.25cm x 9cm). Engraved with the annual House winners (North, West, South, Balfour, Dunkley, Hardy) for each year between 1908 and 1948. Some partial tarnishing and discolouration to surfaces, commensurate with age.

Remains an interesting original survivor nonetheless. Please see photos for further condition detail.
