Archibald Knox / AE Jones Silver Plated Enamel Copper Brass Box Liberty & Co. This is an Arts & Crafts period silver plated copper & brass box with enamel set lid. This design has been attributed to both A E Jones & Archibald Knox & probably retailed in Liberty & Co according to past attributions. The interior has the original gray plush lining.

The lock is intact but there is no key. It is unusual to see traces of the original silver plating as similar surviving examples have generally been over polished. This example has come from a recent house clearance in North Wales.

CONDITION No visible damage, enamel intact & in good orderas per images. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
