Authentic 1936 Silver Plated Figural Penguin Cocktail Shaker Napier Company
Vintage silver plated figural penguin form cocktail shaker designed by Emile Arthur Shuelke for The Napier Company, 1936. Produced at the company's plant in Meriden, Connecticut, the ahaker features a hinged beak, interior strainer, and cork in the original two piece design.
This piece is correctly stamped''Napier Patents Pend. On base, showing it to be one of the earliest examples of this iconic museum piece. This is a remarkable example of this piece with minimal signs of plate wear and some light impressions from use, pictured. This is the best example of this piece I've seen in 40 years AND has NO MONOGRAMS!!
