Beautiful BOXED SILVER PLATE CUT GLASS CLARET DECANTER - HINGED LID STOURBRIDGE?? This listing is for a really clean and clear inside CLARET JUG with a silver plated hinged lid with pretty finial which acts as a pull for the lid. The cut is noteworthy as it is a beautiful pointed windows with diamond cuts within and long fan cuts between each. There are a series horizontal slash cuts, one above the other.

Much like the Tudor Stourbridge patterns. It is a very good weight in the hand especially when it full of the ruby Claret. The glass is very deeply cut and light emanates from the glass bounding in all directions reflecting and refracting. A very eye catching piece. One to enhance any bar, or drinks cabinet.

Great if you are treating yourself or as a gift for a special occasion. The Claret jug is beautifully enhanced by being presented in a leather look well finished and fitting clasp.
