The Quaich, originally Scotland's cup of friendship, has been used through the centuries to offer a welcoming drink at Clan Gatherings, and other family occasions, and to friends and visitors, the design then moved to similar shaped vessels such as this fruit bowl. This really is a beautiful piece and would enhance any setting.
Condition in keeping of age with small signs of wear and usage, there are light scratches and marks were the silver plate has worn, mainly to the inside of the bowl but there are a few small marks, light scratches and a couple of very small dents to the outside.
