There are a few dings & dents on the instrument, however none have any detriment to the fantastic playability of this much sought after Euphonium. This particular large bore Bb Euphonium play's exceptionally well, giving a big full tone right throughout the range.
The valve's on the instrument can only be described as perfect, very light, quiet & responsive indeed. Having received new valve springs, spring dampers, guides & soft stops. The serial number 862### dates the instrument to circa 1999 which is incredible as it looks & more importantly plays like a much newer instrument. The Sovereign 967 is a large bore four-valve compensating instrument, well-known to and trusted by band players all over the world. Bore size: 0.590 (14.95mm).
Bell diameter: 12.0 (304mm). The instrument comes in it's original Besson hard case also in a good used condition.
