Continental silver plate on brass girandole wall mirror featuring a stylish raised scroll design. Nice attractive silver plate on brass wall mirror, it has its original bevelled mirror plate, is of a nice size with 2 movable sconce for holding candles, on its original mahogany.
The bevelled mirror is within it's own frame surrounded by decorated raised swirls with flower heads, one of which is missing, on its original mahogany back which is shaped and aligns with silver plate decoration. In an excellent used antique condition with signs of use and wear commensurate with age, the silver plate has not been polished so has some natural tarnishing which gives a nice patina, their is no foxing and no flecking to the mirror.The mahogany is sound with remnants of old polish in the edges. The pair of scone holders are removable, where they fold back against the mahogany there are indentations whixh have occurred over the years. The mirror measure approx 17 7/8inches (45.5cm) in height, with a width of 11.25inches (258.5cm), and a depth of 6.75inches (17.3cm). Dispatched using ParcelForce due to the weight.
