Edwardian Silver Plate Tea Set by "Oneida Silversmiths" Teapot, Milk Jug & Sugar Bowl. The pieces have some weight to them and the style and pot handle are vintage and date from the late 19th to early 20th century. The set consists of a teapot, sugar bowl, and creamer. The set has been polished and is in overall very good condition. The inside of the teapot shows some signs of use, however the sugar bowl and creamer are in pristine condition.

Sizes:Teapot Height 17cm Length 25cm - Creamer Height 6cm Length 13.5cm Sugar Bowl Height 6cm Length 14.5cm. ONEIDA SILVERSMITHS - Sherrill NY, Tableware manufacture began in 1877. Incorporated in New York in 1880 under the name Oneida Community Limited.

Moved to Niagara Falls in 1880. Name changed to Oneida Ltd in 1935. Used the trade mark NIAGARA FALLS 1877 SILVER CO. , ONEIDA COMMUNITY IN WWII: THE ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN "BACK HOME FOR KEEPS".
