Elegant 3-bottle Tantalus, Tall Crystal Decanters & Silver Plate Stand
Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a stunning antique 3-bottle Tantalus decanter set with tall crystal bottles fitted into nice silver plated stand, c. The set contains three tall cut crystal decanters decorated with a long panel cut design down the neck to mid-section of body with a diamond cut mid-section with deep ribbed cut lower body and deep starburst in base. The stoppers are blown glass. The silver plated stand has a fancy handle with embossed design.
The silver plated stand is decorated with a reticulated scroll design around the lower body and sits on three ornate feet. Stand measures 15 1/2" high at handle and 4 3/4" high at fitted holder.The base measures 8" high, 8" wide and 8 deep. Bottles measure 13 1/2" high (stopper included) with the top diameter of 2", maximum width is 3" and the base diameter is 2 5/8". Total weight is 7.2 pounds. The bottles are in excellent Estate condition with no chips or cracks. One stopper has a small chip on edge of side cutting and all three have very minimal tiny nicks on base end edge (see photos).
No other noted flaws with the bottles. The stand is in very good condition with minor base metal showing through on handle.
