Fine KEITH MURRAY For Mappin & Webb Art Deco Silver Plated Cocktail Shaker, c1930. A wonderful example of high Art Deco barware by Mappin & Webbs master designer Keith Murray. Unlike the more common examples this is spouted and features a detachable cap on the end. The cover currently cannot be removed and probably needs to be soaked in warm water to release it. Externally it is in great condition with no noticeable plate loss or denting and just lacks a thin chain between the spout cap and ring attachment on the body to keep the spout cap from being lost! The underside is marked'W28994', and "PRINCE'S PLATE", along with the Mappin & Webb marks.
