This is a Magnificent MUSEUM QUALITY GERMAN Highly collectible tableware Cruet Set by the renowned silversmiths WMF of Germany, c. 1890; finely crafted in silver plated with original matching acid etched glass containers.
The handled cruet set stands on a footed silver-plated base with floral decoration of flower bulbs and leaves in raised relief, following the naturalistic Art Nouveau style. The metal tray holds five magnificently etched containers: a pair of lidded oil and vinegar decanters 19,5 cm high, two rounded open salt and pepper holders 4 cm high, and a mustard lidded pot 10,5 cm high.
The tableware set is hallmarked with the WMF factory marks and numbered 157. Measures 25 cm high by 30 cm long by 19 cm wide. An absolute most for collectors!
