Huge c1884 MAPPIN & WEBB Silver Plate Meat Dome / Cover Rd71533

On offer is this fabulous, large, antique, silver plate meat dome / cover / cloche. A half fluted (repousse tear drop) pattern, with twisted leaf detailed handle. By one of England's best - Mappin & Webb. Has the Mappin & Webb Prince's Plate mark on the underside. Dimensions: 38cm x 45.5cm x 27cm.

Raw unpackaged weight of 2.942kg. In good condition - no major dings/dents. Some minor surface marks commensurate with age/use, but no blistering or peeling to the plating. I haven't cleaned the underside.. Please note I've not polished the interior of the walls.
