Ivar T. Holth Gold Plated Sterling Silver White Guilloche Enamel Necklace Norway

A mid-20th Century gold-plated sterling silver 925s necklace from Ivar T. Holth in white guilloche enamel. Holth in the 1950s (could be 1960s). The necklace is marked with an encircled H (company mark) Norway Sterling 925s. The enamel is in excellent condition with just some light patina to the metal. Holth (1909 - 1977) was a Norwegian goldsmith who learned his craft with Hroar Prydz and Elvik & Co. Prior to establishing his own company in 1949. His innovative designs were very successful in the 1950s and 1960s and the company was run from 1977 until its closure in 2007 by his son, Peter.
