A charming antique Locke & Co. Worcester blush ivory porcelain candy dish in its original silver-plated frame, dating to c.

The scalloped circular bowl has a warm blush ivory and apricot ground with relief-moulded exterior. The interior is painted with a peacock perched on pine branches - a classic Locke & Co. A gilt line finishes the rim. The original silver-plated frame features a shaped arch handle with a decorative scalloped profile and three scroll feet. Was founded by Edward Locke, a former Royal Worcester decorator, producing high quality porcelain at Shrub Hill Works, Worcester until 1914.

Their wares are closely related to Royal Worcester's blush ivory range and are increasingly collected in their own right. Height: 7 cm (without handle). I know how to professionally pack fragile items.
