Height 17/18 cm (bowl leans slightly to one side - possibly from new). Width at rim 23.5 cm. Width at base 13 cm. Diameter of ring handle 4 cm.
This cooler has been in my family from new and originally belonged to my great, great grandparents, Robert and Bella who lived in Kilmarnock, Scotland. Where Robert worked for the Duke of Portland. From them, it passed to my two spinster great aunts who lived with him before being inherited by my mother in the early 1960's. My mother kept it in a trunk in the attic along with other of their belongings, and from there it passed to me in 1987.
I have had it on display in a cabinet since that date, although I have n used it. My sons unfortunately have no interest in it, so I now want to try and find it a new home. Silver plate has rubbed off in places exposing the copper beneath, especially on raised decoration and edges. Silver has blackened/oxidised in some places. Bowl leans slightly to one side - it rocks very slightly on the base and rim is similarly angled - noticeable if you compare the left and right sides of the neck with lion handles left and right - see photo with spirit level.
One small dent - shown inside and outside in last two photos. I've mentioned everything I noticed, but please look through all the photos carefully.
They show every inch of the bowl so you can see everything described above and judge overall condition for yourself. I'm happy to send more photos if there's any other detail you'd like to see, or to answer questions if I can.
