An original 1920's high Art Deco silver plate tea for one set. In a silver plated brass, it is quite heavy duty, and probably made for the hotel/ restaurant trade. No makers marks, it is in a four piece set, no tray unfortunately but you could easily source one on here. Fab rounded design, and all stand on ball feet, we have.
Tea pot main body 8.5" diam- width from handle to spout end 16" and is 12 cm tall to knob top. A lidded sugar cube dish with original tongues, and is handled, body is same size as tea pot and is same height, and is 13 cm wide at handles. The hinges on the tea pot and this are strong and fine. Then we have two jugs, 5.5 cm & 7 cm tall, round body is 5 and 6 cm diam, the plate is not so good on these two and the bigger one has a small dent in it's centre one side see pix, non the less they are all in a good condition, and display very well, I have not cleaned them, some slight loss of plate where the brass seeps thru but nothing bad. You can have them re-plated if you wish, a simple process and will make them look new, to me they look better as is.
