ORIGINAL Beautiful WMF Silver Plated Art Nouveau Secessionist Easal Mirror. Very Rare and sort after. Here we have a spectacular Origial WMF Art Nouveau Secessionist Easal Mirror, depicting a barefoot maiden dressed in flowing robes and holding a bunch of flowers, leaning towards a classical cartouche with a dove, quiver and arrows, flaming torch and swags of flowers and ribbons, an allegorical reference to love. Beautifully modeled and cast, with fine detail, as one can expect from the eminent German makers WMF. This mirror is such a rare model its highly sort after, its fully WMF Hallmarked as shown with marks : B -Britannia Metal, Behive Mark Ostrich, OX - Oxidesed.

1/0 Silver Plate and Reg Number 11508. With Original Brass adjustable Easal Stand and all original metal back plate and fittings.

Excellent condition throughout, with all original fittings, a very minor dint to the outside edge of the upright (oppersite to the maiden head) and some very light surface wear (small shadow) to the mirror. Its an absolutely amazing piece of beauty thats over a hundred years, I have never seen such a beautiful example before and especially with its original Factory fittings, No loose pieces or broken pieces whatsoever, this is a very High Quality and a rare piece of WMF thats simply Magnificent. A lot of copies out there. This one is Guaranteed to be Original.
