Original WHITE STAR LINE RMS TEUTONIC / MAJESTIC Era Silver-Plated Sugar Bowl Lg

Original WHITE STAR LINE Large Two-Handle Silver- Plated Sugar Bowl in the Teutonic Pattern by Mappin Brothers c. This is a very nice silver plated artifact in what has become known as the Teutonic pattern, used by the White Star Line on board RMS TEUTONIC and MAJESTIC.

I have seen similar examples of sugar bowls, but this one is large. There is the White Star Burgee on the front. The bottom is stamped MAPPIN BROTHERS, London & Sheffield, with their corporate Sun logo above. I believe this dates to the 1890's, making this possibly as old as 130.

She has her share of dents and dings, but is overall in very good condition. Her finish is original and still looks great. ITEM WEIGHT (approximate): 11 oz. Notes on Original Historical Artifacts and Ephemera. All Items are from my personal collection.

I only handle documents and photos with the use of white cotton research gloves. This item was displayed in a home with a small dog, a Japanese Chin.
