AMAZING FIND OF SO MANY QUALITY PIECES IN SUCH GOOD CONDITION BY ONE OF GERMANY'S WELL KNOWN KNIFE MAKING COMPANIES - J. HENCKELS, MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS ZWILLING HENCKELS THESE DAYS. ALL FROM ORIGINAL SET AND HAVE M MONOGRAM ENGRAVED ON SILVERPLATED HANDLES. THE WIDE STEEL BLADES OF DINNER KNIVES LOOK VIRTUALLY UNUSED. I BELIEVE THE SET IS EITHER OF LATE 19TH OR EARLY 20TH CENTURY VINTAGE.

REASONABLE WEAR FOR AGE, SILVER PLATE IS INTACT THOUGH SOME PIECES ARE SCUFFED AS ONE WOULD EXPECT FROM PRIOR USAGE AND A COUPLE OF THE SPOONS HAVE A "RESTING" MARK.
