A very Rare figural Liquor Decanter in the form of a standing Elephant with a Pannier on his back which has two compartments which could hold small glasses. The silver plate Pannier has a cork stopper in it. You fill the decanter in the back of the Elephant and pour out of the trunk. There is a chain with a stopper that fits in the trunk so the liquor will not evaporate. Crystal with silver plated mounts and glass eyes. The silver plate is worn in places and the brass is showing through. There is a line in the crystal running from the opening which I have tried to picture. However, it is very smooth to the touch both inside and out so I dont know if it was in the mold.
