ROBIN OF SHERWOOD, Hernes Arrow Prop REPLICA Silver Plated LTD ED. Michael Praed

Limited to a run of just 30 worldwide. Cast in solid bronze and heavily silver plated. These were all cast and finished by hand in Central England. Each one was unique due to the way it was hand cast using the lost wax method. It comes in a custom fleece padded soft case and has a COA.

I will also include a black 3D printed arrow display stand. Due to the weight, I can't post this outside of the UK. Hernes Arrow, or the Silver Arrow, was a prop used in the landmark HTV series, Robin of Sherwood. It was described as an ancient totem of pre-Christian England and was hundreds of years old for the purpose of the shows lore. The arrow had a Guardian, who was Ailric of Loxley.

When Ailric is killed by the Sheriff of Nottingham, the arrow falls into the Sheriffs hands. Years later, Robin of Loxley comes of age and is made outlaw. During an encounter in the forest with Herne the Hunter, God of the Forest, he is told he must retrieve the arrow which is being offered as a prize at an archery tournament. Disguised, Robin enters and wins the tournament, taking back the arrow and returning it back to Herne. It's magical qualities are undefined, but it holds significant oral value as well as being a symbol of saxon versus norman.

With the binding runes on all four sides of the shaft it clearly is an object of power which would have been disastrous if it had stayed in the hands of people like the Sheriff and the Baron DeBelleme who, in a later episode, uses its power to resurrect and tries to kill Robin with it. This reproduction of the screen used arrow uses some artistic licence as at that point the hero prop was not available for reference. It is significantly heavier and better made than the prop, and has been silver plated to make an elegant and valuable collectors items for any Robin of Sherwood fan. I have purposely left a little oxidisation on the arrow to define the detailing, but if that doesn't suit the new owner then it can easily be buffed back to brand new condition with a silver cleaning cloth. The COA provides detailing for cleaning.
