This is a stunning Regency or late Georgian style tea/coffee urn, it is small-med in size, and classical in form on four lion paws on a base with a spirit burner, and ebony or ebonised wood knob and tap (burner needs a new wick to work). It still works perfectly, no leak.
Designed to keep drinks hot. This is a fairly simple and refined design thats not too ornate, that sits very well in a modern home. Some signs of age, small scratches, wear to plating at edges, a scratch on the back of urn, one wing nut missing from base, etc, see picture. There are no markings, Is say 1900, but it's possible this is a later model from the 1920's-1930's, making it at least 100-130 years old. Dimensions: 36.5 cm tall, 22 cm wide at handles, 14 cm urn width, base is 13 x 13 cm.
1.6 kg (14.5" x 8.5" approx).
