Beutiful Pair of Art Nouveau Secessionist Silver Plated Twin Stemmed Candlesticks by the German Makers WMF. Both are Fully Halmarked with Running Ostrich in Behive and 65k. Here we have a very Stylish Pair of Twin Stemmed candles sticks, very High Quality and evocative of the Art Nouveau Secessionist period. Beautiful bright Silver plate which shows the amazing style and workmanship in these stunning items, they have removable sconces as should all quality candlesticks.
Such a beautiful Pair of Twin Stemmed WMF candlesticks are very rare and would make a Fabulous Christmas / New Year Gift for any WMF Collector or equally someone who appreciates Style. Excellent overall condition, very little silver loss, no dents, dints or breakages whatsoever, very few rubbing marks, inside the stem underneath of the candle sticks there are some marks, (I havent tried to clean), sconces easily removable all threads are perfect, Arms are straight and strong, sits and displays wonderfully. This pair of candlesticks are over a hundred years old and are in wonderful condition, there must be some signs of wear. For sure these have been somebodys Pride and Joy! Measurements of Base : 10.25cm x 7.5cm.
