Two Clarice Cliff Hand Painted Silver Birch Plates, Original Art Deco

Two original Clarice Cliff Silver Birch circular pottery art deco plates, circa 1937. These hand painted decorative plates in Silver Birch design have the black Clarice Cliff signature and Wilkinson mark on the reverse.

The larger plate is 25cm (10) diameter, the smaller plate is 23cm (9) diameter. Both plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some crazing and both plates are in need of a light clean. There are some darker scratch marks to the larger plate (see photos), but hopefully this should come off with a clean.
